#ColbieCaillat Releases Music Video about True Beauty – Tear Jerker Alert!
In regards to Ashley’s post earlier today about Chrissy Teigen being “too fat” to model for Forever 21, I just found out that Colbie Caillat is also making waves in the ‘Everybody’s Beautiful’ department. Earlier this week, Caillat released a new music video for one of her most beautifully recorded songs yet, “Try,” and the results were absolutely heart-wrenching.
In the music video, there are a few women who are in full-fledged make-up and it depicts the transformation to their natural state without all of the extra help. Caillat’s words “you don’t have to try so hard” are meant to encourage women and men to embrace their natural beauty and stop hiding behind the many different types of store-bought assistance. Caillat was so dedicated to this idea, in fact, that she is seen in the music video doing the exact same thing. By the end of the video, all of the women are completely natural in appearance and chills are crawling up and down your spine.
